Basic Training Notes Part 2

3 Inviting Approaches

  1. Direct Approach
  2. Indirect Approach
  3. Kidnap

Direct

Can be applicable for bosses, relatives, close friends, business partners.

Power words/ phrases:

"Let's meet."
"Pag nagustuhan mo, pagtulungan natin. Pag hindi, walang pilitan. Ang importante is nakita mo sya."
"Kelan ka available?"

If they ask more details, just tell them "BASTA"

House Party:

  • Can be done with family and relatives.
  • 5-10 People
  • To conduct product presentation
  • Just to move the products

Kidnap

For trusted people only.
Rule of Thumb - never bring a battalion

"May ikekwento ako sa'yo."

Our mindset is always to "help".

Indirect

This is also called the 3rd-party approach
You do not do the inviting directly. You do this via the FORM (discussed in Part I)
Hindi ikaw ang naghahabol sa kanila. They will be the one to say "Pwede ba ako dyan?"

Goal of Inviting is to set a schedule for the meeting

Always give them an option.
When are you available Monday or Tuesday?
Morning or Afternoon?
2PM or 3PM?

Presentation/ Meeting

Before the presentation:

1. Open Mind - You talk with your invite (heart to heart) and you open the idea that this is for USANA and your intention is to help them with their need for extra income or health needs.

2. Mirroring/ ABC

Mirroring is when you discuss things that the your guests can relate to. For example the mentor you are with is an accountant and the your guest is also an accountant.

ABC: You build respect

A - dvisor (anyone from USANA)
B - ridge (You)
C - lient  (Guest)

You mention the name, background, profession, achievement outside and achievements in USANA of the Advisor. It is more effective when you do it in a "pabulong" manner.

You call your advisor Ms., Ma'am, Sir, Coach and not Upline.

Eg. Jane, is a CPA, she used to work in Punongbayan and Araullo audit firm. She also worked in Shell as a supervisor. She is one of our directors in USANA earning around $600-800 per week.

If you are in USANA office, you can tell your guest that you will check if the advisor is available to meet your guest.

You will be the one to go your advisor and not the other way around.

During the Presentation:

  1. No texts/ calls
  2. Don't leave the guest
  3. Don't butt in
  4. Lean forward and nod - Monkey see. Monkey do.

After the Presentation:

  1. Closing by the presentor
  2. Closing by the mentor
  3. Final Closing - personal closing by the one who invited the guest
Remember that people join because of trust.

Final Closing:

  1. Tell them that your prospect list is close. You can show them your prospects list.
  2. SMART Positioning - "urgency" - show them that you will have another meeting and ABC the other guest na uunahan nila
  3. I Story - tell them your story before, during USANA and what is happening Now
    • Before: What were your hesitations, objections and doubts when you were invited/ before  you joined
    • During: Deciding Factors and your realizations
    • Now: Your results now in terms of Income and Product. If you are new, you can tell them that you started earning P1000.
You are selling your trust.

When is my Auto Order Monthly Deadline?

Why do we need to be mindful of our Auto Order monthly deadline?

This is to ensure that your Business Center/s (BC) remain active and are eligible to receive points and commissions

To keep one Business Center active, you must achieve at least 100 points in Personal Sales Volume (PSV) during each 4-week rolling period. 200 points is needed to activate all 3 Business Centers.

To track your AO deadline, please use the USANA's Rolling Calendar

To illustrate

E.g. My registration date was last April 4. This is also the same date that I first placed my first/ initial order. You will see in the calendar that April 4 is under the Blue Cycle

The Blue Cycle will be my four-week rolling cycle unless the Associate calls the USANA Office to change the Auto Order dates

To remain commission eligible, the next order must be placed in the next same-color cycle. The next activation order of at least 100 PSV points must be placed by Friday of the next Blue cycle which is May 6

Payment can be done via cash or credit card. Cash payments can be made in Union Bank using the reference number up to Wednesday (May 4) during the cycle only up to 1-2 PM.

What is USANA Auto Order?

Auto-orders qualify for 10% off the Associate/ Preferred Price from USANA products.

An Auto Order (AO) is a standing instruction for a product order, allowing the USANA Head Office to ship and bill you for an order on a 28-day (four week) cycle.

The rationale for this is to ensure that before you sell USANA's products, you should really should use them yourself. You become a product of the product. This step is optional and can be canceled anytime.

To receive additional savings, you'll need to set up an Auto Order in advance and allow it to process automatically as a weekend processed order.

How will you do it?

1. Log in to www.usana.com

2. Click Shop and Order>My Auto Order

Note: There is also and option to set up your desired products through the counter, or by calling USANA hotline or online one week before your Auto Order deadline

3. You will see this screen and you can change your orders.

4. Auto orders can be set up during your registration and the option selected is via Bank Payment System (BPS) or Union Bank payment. This is to ensure that your credit card will not be charged on a monthly basis.

You may, however, set up credit card payments by sending an email to USANA with the copy of your card, your ID number and authorization letter informing USANA that you are allowing them to use your card.

5. When paying for your Auto-Order in Union Bank, use the reference provided on top of the screen. For this particular example, the reference number is 63517203.

Here's how you pay your AO in Union Bank:

(a) Ask the bank for a copy of the BILLS PAYMENT SLIP.

(b) In the box titled "PAYMENT FOR (COMPANY/INSTITUTION)", please write "BA - UHS". This tells the Union Bank to transfer the money to the Bank of America account of USANA Health Sciences.

(c) In the box titled "CLIENT'S NAME", please write your name as it appears in your USANA application. This allows USANA to identify you as the person who is paying for the order.

(d) In the box titled "REFERENCE 1", please write the rference number . This allows USANA to match your payment to this Autoship order.

(e) In the box titled "TOTAL PAYMENT", write the amount of your Auto Order, and pay this same amount to the bank.

(f) Sign where the box says "CLIENT'S SIGNATURE"

(g) Since you are paying by cash, you need not complete the other boxes in this form.
The Union Bank will transfer your payment to USANA one or two business days thereafter - depending on the time of day you make this payment. Make sure you retain a copy of this PAYMENT SLIP as proof of payment.

Please remember that USANA will only release the products for collection / shipment after it receives your payment from the Union Bank, and the sales volume points associated with this order will only be added to your Personal Sales Volume then. Therefore, in order to ensure that your Sales Volume points are posted this week, you should make the payment on or before Wednesday April 20th.

6. Should you wish to stop using your credit cards, you need to call USANA head office at (632) 858-4500 or email them at USANA PH Distributor Services <CustomerServicePH@usana.com>, USANA PH Distributor Services <distserv@ph.usana.com>

7. If you also wish to cancel your participation in the Auto Order program and your payment option is BPS/ Union Bank payment, you will just have to ignore the emails sent to you and stop paying for your Auto-Orders.

If you also wish to cancel your participation in the Auto Order program and your payment option is credit card payment, please contact USANA Head Office by calling or emailing them.

FAQ:

Q: I noticed that upon registration, there is an Auto Order registered for me, will my bank account be registered in my USANA account or my credit card be charged for the said purchase?

A: No. Your bank account will not be charged for your Auto Order. The credit card will not be charged as well. All Associates are required to write a letter authorizing USANA to use our credit card. A copy of your credit card is required to be submitted as well. No charges will be incurred without the Associate's consent.
